What affects does estrogen have on fertility?

Estrogen is a reproductive hormone that affects both male and female fertility. Whether it is high or low both the problems may become a big reason for infertility. It plays a very important role during menstruation and al so during pregnancy. There are many health problems that you will have to suffer due to imbalance amount of estrogen in the body.

 If estrogen level is low then, it might cause night sweating, headaches, vaginal dryness etc. this will cause imbalance in the regular menstruation cycle or might cause complications during pregnancy. It is also very important for the ovulation process. This hormone is produced with the help of another hormone called luteinizing hormone. So directly or indirectly many parts of the body will get affected due to estrogen levels. FSH that is produced by pituitary gland informs the ovary to produce estrogen in order make an egg for ovulation so that menstruation cycle can start.

This whole cycle is disturbed at times due to low levels of estrogen. The amount of estrogen required for fertility is very limited so great care has to be taken by the process to take proper quantity of hormone. So basically there are adverse affects on the fertility of female due to improper levels of estrogen.
